He Will Fight Your Battles

I love the verse found in Proverbs 16 that says: “when a man’s ways please the Lord, He’ll make even his enemies be at peace with him.” Think about that for just a moment. God wants you to live in peace. He doesn’t want to see you worry and frustrated, striving to fight your battles in your own strength. He wants to fight your battles for you. He wants to be the hero of your story!

What enemies are you facing today? Are you facing an enemy of debt? An enemy of fear? An enemy of lack? God wants to silence those things that come against you. Instead of focusing on all those things coming against you, focus on the One who is for you! No matter what’s going on in your life, all you have to do is please God Almighty and He will take care of the rest. How do you know when you are pleasing Him? The Bible says that faith pleases God. When you declare His promises over your life and trust that He will fight your battles, you are pleasing Him. When you come humbly before Him and obey His commands, you are pleasing Him. Make Him the number one priority in your life and let Him fight your battles. Let Him fill you with His peace and joy so that you can move forward in the abundant life He has for you!
